Which Mercedes-EQ Electric Vehicles Are Coming to the U.S.A. Next?

Throughout its history, Mercedes-Benz has stood at the forefront of automotive innovation. It has embraced innovation at every bend in the road. With this in mind, you may not be surprised to learn that Mercedes-Benz is introducing a new all-electric line of cars and SUVs. This line, known as the Mercedes-EQ line, will be arriving in America soon. Our team at Mercedes-Benz of Louisville is available to help you learn more about the options.
2022 EQS Sedan

The goal for Mercedes-Benz is to have an all-electric vehicle in every automotive class, and Mercedes-Benz has kicked off the line with the flagship 2022 EQS. The EQS electric sedan models include the EQS 450+, the EQS 580 4MATIC®. The EQS 450+ comes with 329 horsepower. The EQS 580 4MATIC® comes with 516 combined horsepower. You can expect the EQS to come with Level 3 autonomous driving capabilities and a full range of luxurious features that you should expect from a flagship model carrying the Mercedes-Benz nameplate. Mercedes-Benz is also planning a 2022 Mercedes-AMG EQS model. This model is expected to produce an astounding 649 horsepower.
2023 EQE Sedan

The EQE will sit directly below the EQS in the electric sedan lineup, and it is expected to be introduced for the 2023 model year. At the moment, we know there will be one EQE model, which will be the EQE 350. The EQE 350 will produce 288 horsepower and feature rear-wheel drive. A second model is also expected to be available at launch with additional versions of the EQE coming down the road in the future.
EQB SUV

The EQB is a smaller crossover SUV that will be available with performance options, and it is also expected to be introduced for the 2023 model year. There are two models we currently know about. Both options will have 4MATIC® all-wheel drive, and a front-wheel drive option is scheduled to arrive later. The EQB 300 4MATIC® will give you 225 horsepower, and the more advanced EQB 350 4MATIC® will deliver 288 horsepower. Five seats are standard, and there’s an option for seven seats.
EQG Concept

The EQG is an all-electric G-wagon concept that takes performance and luxury to a new level. This is a two-row SUV that will have a separate electric motor driving each wheel. It will also come with a two-speed gearbox. While the EQG is still technically a concept vehicle, some sources say it will arrive for the 2024 model year.
