In November, Mercedes-Bez partnered with MN8 Energy to bring about a new network of premium electric vehicle charging stations to North America. This network marks the first ever Mercedes-Benz charging hub, with the primary stationed located at the Mercedes-Benz USA headquarters. The deal between Mercedes-Benz and MN8 aims to bring 2,500 electric chargers and 400 charging hubs to the continent by 2030.
The chargers being implemented are 400kW Chargers, making the Mercedes-Benz chargers some of the fastest in the entire electric vehicle industry. Furthermore, the charging hub at the Mercedes-Benz USA headquarters provides charging for any vehicle, while also giving drivers a luxury waiting experience within their charging lounge. Every charger will use renewable energy to provide a cleaner and more sustainable charging experience.
