 What's New for the 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 S E PERFORMANCE?
The C 63 has consistently been coveted by Louisville-area drivers who demand elite performance from their sedans. Its V8 gas engine and other mechanical aspects have made it a solid contender, while its premium features and style have added to its appeal. Now, the previous C 63 model will be replaced by the 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 E PERFORMANCE. This performance-oriented plug-in hybrid luxury sedan moves the brand closer to achieving its electrification goals for the end of the decade. A rear electric motor and a longitudinally-mounted, four-cylinder turbocharged engine will power it. Rather than featuring rear-wheel drive as the C 63 had, the 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 E PERFORMANCE comes with AMG® Performance 4MATIC®+ all-wheel drive with fully variable torque distribution.
This high-end sport sedan will remain in the same class as the BMW M3 and other sophisticated options, but its capabilities are on a higher level. Its powertrain offers a combined output of 752 lb-ft of torque and 671 horsepower, so you can expect to be impressed by its acceleration and speed. Its one-pedal function features four levels of regenerative braking. In addition, the driver can manage steering, dampers, and stability through the eight driving modes. These modes are Comfort, Race, Individual, Sport, Sport+ Electric, Battery Hold, and Slippery. The 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 E PERFORMANCE is also engineered with an automatic nine-speed AMG® transmission, a coil-spring suspension, and an electronic limited-slip differential.
The exterior of the 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 E PERFORMANCE has strong yet elegant styling. Compared to its gas-powered predecessor, it boasts a 0.4-inch larger wheelbase and gets another 3.6 inches on its body. The jet wing style of the front air vents is paired with additional air vents on the rear bumper. Both the sweeping hood and the sides have stunning definition. The style is also brought to life through the sedan's low ground clearance, 20-inch summer tires, and quad exhaust finishers.
The 2024 Mercedes-AMG® C 63 E PERFORMANCE's cabin displays a sophisticated, contemporary design with glossy surfaces on the dashboard and premium upholstery covering the bolstered sport seats. In front of the driver, the AMG® steering wheel has paddle shifters, and a 12.3-inch digital screen provides access to the driver's gauges. The 11.9-inch infotainment system screen has touch access and features the latest MBUX system. Voice controls and elite safety features are some of the many other features in this plug-in hybrid luxury sport sedan.
